Carpet Removal in Chicago & Surrounding Suburbs
Old carpet up, floor ready for what comes next. Carpet, pad and tack strip pulled up, rolled and hauled away. Junk removal across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
What to expect
Pulling up carpet is dusty, heavy work. The crew cuts the carpet into manageable strips, rolls it with the pad, removes tack strips and takes it all out in one trip.
It is a common first step before refinishing hardwood, laying tile, installing vinyl plank or listing a house.

Carpet Removal questions
Do you remove glued-down carpet?
Yes. Glued-down carpet takes more work than stretched carpet, and leftover adhesive on the subfloor is a separate step. Tell us what is under the carpet if you know.
Do I have to move the furniture first?
It helps to clear the room. If you cannot, let us know when you book.
Can you remove carpet from stairs?
Yes. Stair carpet is slower to pull than open floor, so mention how many steps when you ask for a quote.
